Eat...
With a nod to modern European bistros, our focus is on seasonal food, paired well. We make a point of sourcing the best ingredients from local farmers, and allowing each dish’s individual flavours to speak for themselves.
The menu is designed for sharing. Our signature charcuterie boards are garnished with seasonal condiments made here in house, with an eye toward pairing with the perfect glass of wine.
Our menu changes frequently, depending on what our local farmer partners are harvesting. Though we might not have the exact dish you loved last time, we promise what we’ve replaced it with will reflect the very best of the season and our unique local terroir.
... and Drink
Here at the Stable House, we think of wine as a necessity, not a luxury. We want to take back the world of wine from the stuffy 1%ers and share it with our customers in an environment free of pretension and artifice. Our eclectic list is curated by Matthew Landry, one of BC’s top sommeliers, and prizes the humble everyday wines of Europe above all others. We currently offer more than a dozen wines by the glass, as well as several reserve bottles for the avid wine geek (our favourite kind of person). Do note, our wines change almost daily, so we can’t guarantee your favourite bottle will be here when you return. Such is life. Though we always recommend you drink wine while dining with us, we also have four rotating beer taps and are happy to make classic cocktails if we have the right ingredients.
